We had sports day in St. Marnock’s N.S. last week. It was a huge success like every year. Here is what the kids had to say about it:
It started with junior infants class sprints and it went up to sixth class. When it was our turn, I ran as fast as I could. T.J. came first, Robert came second and Kyle came third.
David from Ms. McGinty’s 3rd class
After we did our novelty race. You had to lie on your tummy with your arms by your side and when the whistle was blown, we got up and ran to the sacks. Then we had to get into the sacks and cross the finish line.

First I woke up adn got my shorts on. My brother came in. He was ready already He said he woke up at 6 o’clock but I didn’t believe him. Then we left for school. I was excited for my races

So we ran over and got ready. I was drawing with Tom until I got a stitch so he took me over. The race was finished and Tom brought me a goodie bag. I said thank you. Then we watched the other races.
