Mr. Maughan’s 3rd Class Art Work

Mr. Maughan’s 3rd class have done some great work this year so far in Art. Here is some of the art we have done. We think you will agree that we are quite an artistic bunch after you see these pictures!

Ms. Bolger’s First Class!

Clay Monsters

We have been very busy making clay monsters in first class. We started by flattening our clay and we folded our clay over. Then we added eyes and a tongue. After the clay had hardened, we painted our monsters.

Hot Air Balloons

We made hot air balloons. We used two paper plates, paint and string. Our teacher took pictures of us and we put these into our hot air balloons. If you walk past our classroom, you will see us flying away in our hot air balloons!

Flowers

We have been learning all about spring flowers. Some children have brought in flowers from home. Our favourite flowers are daffodils, crocus, bluebells and snowdrops.
